( Color )
Rules instead of palettes
A palette lists colors. A set of rules says what each one is for, and that is what a team can use.
Colors with jobs
Surface, ink, accent. Each color gets a job and a limit, such as accent on no more than one element per screen.
Campaign color is a guest
A campaign can bring its own color, but it sits on the ramp and does not rewrite the ink or the surface. The file stays stable.
